We were given a task to do a Bouncing Ball with Tail. I am currently on a working spree since it is almost the end of our second semester. I have infused some of my personal things into making this video notably knitting which is one of my passion aside from drawing.

Passion drove me to do it a bit longer than the required time for the assignment, although I did all I could for 2+ weeks of making this animation.

Week 7

Character Turnaround (Young Jaiden)

For those who did not follow up on my busy schedule, my teammates and I were assigned to do character design based on our storyboard class. Our stories have been chosen and we have to design our own characters based on what we learnt so far throughout the weeks we have practiced.

Without further ado let's commence the progression process~

Week 7 (Character Rough Sketches)

It was a tiring week yet we were able to make a rough sketch of Heather's father since my team in the storyboard class and I drafted our story with the start of her father's death when he tried to save her from falling off a train platform during the rush hour. We initially went with this bit however it was scratched out of our story and decided on a better approach after being supervised by our supervisor, Miss Aimi.

I was trusted with the sketches for Young Jaiden who is our supporting character while my team worked on sketches for Heather (the Protagonist) and the Grim Reaper (Anti-hero) respectively by Batrisyia binti Zulkifli and Putri Athirah binti Megat Khairi. Our team's main pillar, Nur'Ain Natasya binti Nizan worked on the sketches of the Adult Jaiden.

Week 8 (Character Development)

This is my Character Development of Young Jaiden 

It is not much of a development to others but it is to me as we keep on develop certain sections of our story while coming up with relatable, lovable characters.

Week 9 (Colour scheme)

We learnt about colour schemes and how to find the right shades using the colour wheel in Adobe Photoshop. It was hard getting the hang of it but it was fun, knowing newer things.

This is my Character Profile of Young Jaiden as a homeless, starving, orphan boy. He is given the role of being constantly mistreated by people around him and a homeless, growing boy. He had to opt to live in the streets all on his own while surviving by rummaging trash cans.

Week 10 (Character Turnaround)

This is my attempt on the Character Turnaround for Young Jaiden. My teammates and I decided on a dark shade of blue for Jaiden and make it his signature appearance so that the audience do not get confused of whether he is Jaiden or not since Jaiden will appear as both a homeless boy in Heather's flashback and as the Adult Jaiden wearing a dark blue cardigan during the present time setting.
