FFA121: Cartoon & Caricatures

MY FRIENDS - FINAL PRODUCT

 WEEK 4
A few days ago, we were assigned to draw a caricature of a friend in the class. To be honest, I've avoided realism because I'm really bad at it (Reallly bad! Yabai!). I was quite shocked actually but I wouldn't learn if I can't even draw a single caricature in my whole entire life. Like the people would say, "you'll never know until you try it". I'd never thought I would do this, actually but... CHALLENGE ACCEPTED! (one way or another!)

DURING CLASS~
I've decided to draw my sister first since she was the closest to me right then and also the closest to my heart ;) Also, I've taken the permission of my best friend, Atikah Zafirah  as my caricature subject just for practice. I drew the first picture down below which was the 'DRAFT' for less than 2 hours. Despite that, the class was cut short because all of us were only assigned to draw 1 caricature of our classmate/friend for the week, which can be easily done at home (given that pics on phones & classmates are roommates whatnot). Being a 'good student', I stayed back with several people including my friends, my sister, Atikah and some other people. (don't know who else there, lol)

AT HOME~
I wanted to do 2 caricatures of 2 different people, so I did a caricature for my dearest of friends, Atiqah Zafirah.
Here's my sister & Atikah (I call her by her nickname, Kouhai). Drawing them with semi-realism hit me hard like truck! I gotta be honest I'm quite happy last night finishing the Outline 1. It took me roughly 9+ hours to get to this point which is the Outline + Colour.
It's still a work in progress, not to mention I'm still learning how to use colours. I sound just like a 5 year old who doesn't know how to use pencil colours... Photoshop is new to me, so please bear with me.

FINISHED ONE (PADLET)
Although I'm new to this peculiar art style, I will do my best in making the finished product. Keep in mind, I'll update my posts weekly. If there's anything you'd like to say & maybe can help me regarding ART, please comment down below. I'll try my best in following your advice. Thank you~
